For the building permit, I prepare the HOT2000 model and pre-construction Step Code report. During construction, I provide air-barrier consulting and blower-door testing while the air barrier is accessible. For occupancy, I complete the final test and as-built report.
A CSA F280 block-load heat-loss and heat-gain calculation is included at no additional charge with every pre-construction compliance package. TECA ventilation checklist work, room-by-room F280, HRV or ERV design and commissioning, EnerGuide, and rebate support are separate services.
